Jacques

Jacques was born from the desire to recreate a small domestic habitat, where water and earth meet, putting the sheen on a common object, the aquarium, often underestimated, which nowadays has almost become an outsider of contemporary design.
Jacques hides what is inside, hides the details, visible only through the portholes on the glass surface, as if it were a small submarine that sails in the blue depths. A tribute to the explorer Jacques Cousteau and the infinite curiosity with which he investigated a world of underwater wonders, this aquarium requires the viewer to interact, to explore: anyone who wants to look inside the aquarium has to get close and patiently observe, the small world that is contained within must be investigated from different points of view and, also, preserved.
