PHONO

Although it is formally comparable to a pair of normal headphones, PHONO is actually an atypical device, which radically reinterprets headphones original functions: from insulating from environment they become an explorative object, able to provide a new, immersive, experience in which user and context coexist.
Thanks the use of filters and a dedicated application, PHONO is able to record the sound inputs that surround us, to modify their volume and intensity and to choose between the frequencies that the user considers “pleasant” from those that, on the other side, are considered “unpleasant”.
